THE DARK HORSE is now available!

“The Dark Horse” is now available for rent from Redbox kiosks across the United States, and for purchase from Amazon and many other vendors.

“The Dark Horse” is a dramatic story of struggle and redemption. Hearing the news that her father is suffering with dementia, Dana, a Seattle ballet teacher, reluctantly returns to her childhood home on Orcas Island to discover that it is threatened with foreclosure. To save the farm and the family, she must tame her mother’s dangerous Friesian horse and ride him to victory in the year’s biggest dressage competition. She must also reconcile her warring brothers, and heal her broken heart.

We’ve received many requests for the wonderful music for “The Dark Horse.”

While there is no soundtrack album, much of the music is available from Amazon, iTunes, and other vendors: there are a number of songs from The Wailin’ Jennys, and some beautiful instrumentals by Dan Carollo.  The music written by Byron Hagen for the movie is not currently available elsewhere.

Full details of the songs used can be found on the Music page.
